Our Chickens

All our eggs are supplied by our troupe of assorted chickens. We have about a dozen, and they are free to range all over the farm, so you might see them in the lane, on the fields or in one of the gardens.

At present we have Copperhead and Cuckoo Marans, Colombian blacktails, Emeralds and Cheshires. 

They supply us with a mix of  brown or blue eggs, sometimes laid in the flower beds or under a bush, although fortunately they do often choose the hen coop.
